WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY (WH&S) POLICY QUALITY POLICY ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

AIM

Our aim is to develop Metasite's safety culture to support continuous WH&S improvement.

OBJECTIVES

Our WH&S objectives are to:
a. comply with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements, codes of practice, State and territory authorities, and the AS 4801:2001 WH&S Standard;
b. include WH&S and risk management principles in all stages of a project;
c. ensure the systematic identification, assessment, and management of WH&S hazards and associated risks;
d. consult with, and involve our employees, contractors and key stakeholders and other parties in ways to reduce workplace hazards and to improve decision-making on WH&S matters and our WH&S systems;
e. allocate suitable resources in order to comply with relevant statutory and regulatory obligations,
advisory standards and industry standards - providing adequate resources to ensure work health safety
is a central part of the organisation;
f. promote and ensure open, honest, effective and timely WH&S communication, consultation and coordination with project stakeholders;
g. define and communicate roles and responsibilities for WH&S;
h. communicate WH&S expectations and provide ongoing WH&S education and training to our employees,
providing information, instruction and training for staff to increase personal understanding of workplace hazards and to ensure proper risk management and appropriate supervision;
i. distribute WH&S information, including this policy, to all employees and interested parties, ensuring that the Health and Safety Policy is communicated to all employees, contractors and other site workers
involved in Metasite Projects;
j. confirm that all employees are competent and sufficiently knowledgeable in WH&S to perform their duties,
for which they are employed, in a safe and productive manner;
k. ensure incidents are reported and investigated, and lessons are learnt within the organisation;
l. take prompt action when WH&S deficiencies are identified;
m. ensure effective injury management and rehabilitation is provided to employees, when necessary;
n. set short and long-term WH&S performance targets for the business, our teams and individuals as
part of Metasite's WH&S Management System, with the aim of measuring and reviewing our WH&S performance and for continual improvement in WH&S management; and
o. regularly audit, review and report on Metasite's health and safety performance, and where required take actions to ensure WH&S Objectives and performance targets are met.

c. continual improvement and meeting the WH&S requirements of the Integrated Management System through the pursuit of our WH&S Objectives.

We aim to build sustainable relationships with its customers and suppliers and to create an environment
where our staff are recognised and rewarded for their contribution.

OBJECTIVES

Our Quality objectives are to:
a. meet our contractual obligations with a view to achieving customer satisfaction, reputation enhancement and repeat business through the effective application of the Company Management System;
b. implement and maintain an AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 based Quality Management System;
c. ensure that staff have the appropriate qualifications, licences, competencies and experience to perform their assigned tasks and functions to a highly professional standard;
d. implement the Quality Management System to achieve project deliverables on time and within budget;
e. ensure that Directors and all levels of Management are kept abreast of changes in relevant standards,
legislation and industry requirements; and
f. audit the Quality System and review our performance and assess feedback from customers, with a view
to continual improvement.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

BEING AN ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANY

Metasite acknowledges the importance of environmental values and recognises that we all have a role in protecting the environment. Metasite is committed to protecting the environment by conducting our operations in compliance with the principles of ecologically sustainable development.
Metasite accepts responsibility to protect the environment by implementing sound environmental objectives, as detailed below. In order to fulfil these objectives, we recognise the need to not only comply with existing environmental legislation, but also strive to set higher environmental standards for the entirety of our operation
and embrace the principals of ecologically sustainable development

OBJECTIVES

Metasite endeavours to protect the environment for future generations and achieve the following environmental objectives. Metasite We will seek to:
a. develop processes and procedures to identify, prevent and mitigate environmental pollution,
b. integrate environmental management into the Company’s, planning, systems, processes, decision making, and the Company’s Integrated Management System Manual (IMS);
c. base our Environmental Management System on AS/NZS ISO 14001: 2004 “Environmental Management System – Requirements”;
d. efficiently manage our operations in a way that minimise our impact on the land, air and waterways, and to achieve the sustainable use and reuse of resources;
e. ensure that employees are trained to conduct their activities in an environmentally responsible manner; and
f. provide appropriate resources to maintain the environmental management system, and achieve the above environmental objectives/performance targets.
g. establish, maintain and continue to improve environmental performance, by setting measurable
objectives and targets,
h. periodically review systems and procedures, environmental performance, objectives and targets to ensure
continual improvement and compliance with legislative and other external requirements,
i. and regularly reviewing; and conducting regular environmental audits and assessments of compliance with
company environmental objectives, contract and legal requirements, and government regulations;
j. instilling in all employees the importance of taking personal responsibility for all site related environmental issues, ensuring a sense of responsibility and ownership of the space we occupy and the impact we can have on others and the environment, and k. communicating this policy to employees and the general public by displaying it in the Sydney or Melbourne Office, site offices and including it in our induction processes.

Together with our existing initiatives to preserve the environment and a strong staff commitment,
